Book Policies

As our name says, we love books! But as a business, we feel the need to define what kind of books we will promote. The guidelines as to what books we will represent will be as follows:

The Things We Accept in Books We Represent:

We accept almost any genre - honestly, we LOVE them all, with the exception of Horror, Erotic, and Non-Fiction
We accept all word counts! We like to work with novellas as well as full novels.
We accept books that are self-published as well as traditionally published as long as they have been professionally edited.
We accept books that will only be published as e-books, as well as those that will be printed.
We accept books that have mythical creatures, made-up words, complicated character names, and newly invented languages.

As you can see, there are very few things we would like to not have in the books we represent. They are as follows:

We do not accept Horror, Erotic or Non-Fiction genres.
We do not accept books that glorify drug use or have excessive violence.
We do not accept books that have excessive and unnecessary use of foul language and swearing.
We do not accept books that have explicit open door sex scenes with descriptions of sensitive body parts. (Sexual tension is more than acceptable, as is closed door sex scenes, kissing and snuggling and other such things, providing again, there is no open description of sensitive body parts.)
We do not accept books that have not been professionally edited.

*We reserve the right to decline representation for any book*

  1. I think these standards and guidelines for your books are perfectly acceptable, and especially since you will be putting your name on them they should be something you feel good about promoting. This is a great service. Now go forth and launch many wonderful books for all of us book lovers to enjoy!

  2. I appreciate the clarification for the kinds of books you represent because I'm not into reading about the "pink parts". It's better to know before I purchase a book whether or not I'm going to have issues with that aspect.

  3. I love that you've established these standards. I prefer to know beforehand whether certain content will be in the books I'm reading as well, so it's nice to have the clarification and know what you accept and what you won't. Thank you!

  6. I think those standards are acceptable. Even though I review all types of romance, with all types of content, I certainly can understand that your group has principles and respect those guidelines.
